This board is specially designed and dedicated for the candidates who are looking for the career in Agriculture field. The Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board also known as ASRB. The ASRB is authorized to conducts competitive examination for Agriculture Research Services - ARS on all India basic to fill the entry level posts in the Agricultural Research Services. The examination conducted consists of three stages i.e. Prelims, Mains and Interview. Total exam is of 300 marks of which mains exam is of 240 marks and interview is of 60 marks. The Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) was established on 1 November 1973 as an independent recruitment agency in pursuance of the recommendations of the Gajendragadkar Committee. The recruits through the ARS Examination are designated as ′ARS′ or 'Scientist'.
