UPPSC Recruitment Notification 2016 – Vacancies of 1343 posts including Faculty, Medical, Engineer and Officer posts: Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) is looking for deserving candidates and has issued a notification for the recruitment of 1343 posts including Faculty, Medical, Engineer and Officer posts.
The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) came into existence on April 1, 1937, with the main aim of recruiting candidates to various services in the state. The commission is regulated by Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission Regulation, 1976. At the time of its inception the UP Public Service Commission was situated in a few rooms in the then Secretariat, but now apart from a lavish campus at Allahabad, it has a Camp Office in the state capital Lucknow as well. In 1937 only 9,811 applications were disposed and over the years the quantum of work has increased manifold with the disposal of a few lakh applications every year now. The UP Public service Commission has modernized itself with the times and massive computerization is being undertaken presently. The examination system has been partly computerized and the process is still under progress. It has two spacious Examination Canters in Allahabad and Lucknow and they can cater to the needs of 3000 candidates at the same time. The number of the members of the Commission has also increased gradually in keeping with the increase in the quantum of work of the Commission and now there are 8 members in it. The working of Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission is also regulated by Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission Regulation, 1976. UPPSC subjects to the provisions of this Article, there shall be a Public Service Commission for the Union and a Public Service Commission for each State. Two of the main functions of UPPSC is to provide opinion on all Disciplinary matters affecting a person serving under the Govt. of UP State in civil capacity and to provide opinion on all matters relating to methods of recruitment to civil services and for civil posts i.e. to provide opinion in making of Service Rules.
Indianisation of the superior Civil Services became one of the major demands of the political movement compelling the British Indian Government to consider setting up of a Public Service Commission for recruitment to its services in the territory. Under the Government of India Act, 1935, for the first time, provision was made for the formation of Public Service Commissions at the provincial level. Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission was constituted on 1 April 1937 with its headquarters at Allahabad. The working of Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission is also regulated by Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission Regulation, 1976.

|Chief Fire Officer||Candidate must have a three year degree in Fire Engineering from National Fire Service College, Nagpur or any equivalent degree from a recognized Institution of comparable status. Or Divisional Officers Course from National Fire Service College, Nagpur or equivalent course from recognized institution of comparable status.|
|Allopathic Medical Officer Level-1||Candidate must hold a M.B.B.S degree from any University recognised by the Medical Council of India, A candidate who possesses a post-graduate Degree/Diploma in Medical or Health Sciences in a particular subject of a university recognized by the Medical Council of India or the Uttar Pradesh Medical Council shall be given preference in the matter of direct recruitment.|
|Medical Officer||Candidate must possess a degree in Unani Tib of a university established by law in India Or Five years degree or diploma in Unani Tib of the Board of Indian Medicine, U.P. (b) Registration as a Hakeem with the Board of Indian Medicine, U.P. (c) Atleast six months professional experience of State Unani or Allopathic Hospital or Dispensary.|
|Allopathic Medical Officer Grade-1||Candidate must have a M.B.B.S. degree from any University recognised by the Medical Council of India. A candidate who possesses a post-graduate Degree/Diploma in Medical or Health Sciences in a particular subject of a University recognised by the Medical Council of India or the Uttar Pradesh Medical Council shall be given preference in the matter of direct recruitment.|
|Professor Materia Medical||Candidate must have a recognized diploma or a degree in Homoeopathy Or (ii) a qualification included in the IIIrd Schedule of Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973, (b) Ten years teaching experience including three years teaching experience in the concerned subject as Reader Or Associate Professor in a recognized Homoeopathic Medical College.|
|Professor Shalya Tantra||Candidate must possess a Five years Degree in Ayurveda from a University established by law or five years Degree from the Board of Indian Medicine, Uttar Pradesh or any other State Board or Faculty which is registrable under the United Provinces Indian Medicine Act, 1939, (b) Ten years' teaching experience of the subject (eight years only in case of post-graduate) including three years on the post of Reader in a recognized institution, (c) Working knowledge of Hindi, English and Sanskrit.|
|Reader Surgery||Candidate must hold a recognized diploma or a degree in Homoeopathy or a degree recognized by the Medical Council of India preferably with qualification included in the IIIrd Schedule of Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973. (b) Four years teaching experience as Lecturer or Seven years teaching experience in a recognized Allopathic or Homoeopathic Medical College.|
|Biologist||Candidate must possess a Bachelors Degree in Science with Zoology as one of the subjects from a University established by law in India.|
|Assistant Engineer (Electrical Cell)||Candidate must hold a degree in Mechanical, Electronics or Electrical Engineering from any recognised University, OR Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics from any technical institution having at least seven years experience of maintenance of hospital equipment's.|
Mode of Selection: Candidates will be selected based on their performance in interview and written examination.
Application Fee: Candidates are required to pay as follows :
(a) Unreserved (General) and : Exam fee ₹ 80/- + On-line processing fee ₹ 25/- Total = ₹ 105/-
(b) Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe : Exam fee ₹ 40/- + On-line processing fee ₹ 25/- Total = ₹ 65/-
(c) Handicapped : Exam fee NIL + On-line processing fee ₹ 25/- Total = ₹ 25/-

How to Apply: Eligible Candidates are required to Apply Online through UPPSC Website, The On-line application will be completed in three stages.
Instructions for Applying Online:
1. Candidates must have scanned copies of photograph & signature.
2. Log on to the website uppsc.up.nic.in
3. Click on All Notifications/ Advertisements.
4. Read all the instructions carefully before applying online.
5. Click on “Apply” Select the desired post.
6. Click on “Candidate Registration” and Fill all the mandatory details.
7. Submit error free application form.
8. An Registration Slip with unique registration number will be displayed, take print out for future reference.
9. Click on “Generate E-Challan/ I-Collect” and make the fee payment.
10. Click on “Submit Application Form” then Part-II application form will be generated.
11. Fill all the mandatory details and upload scanned photograph, signature.
12. Click on Submit button then a Declaration form will be opened.
13. Fill all the particulars carefully in the “Declaration” form.
14. After filling details, preview the application form & click on the “Submit” button.
15. Take print out of application form & other forms for future use.
Note: Candidates after submitting their applications through Online shall send photocopies of their all academic/ required documents regarding their claims along with print out of On-Line application form within 21 days from the last date of submitting the applications (date 03/01/2017 till 5.00 pm) on the working day through registered/ Speed Post or Personally in the office of the Commission.
