Notification of ISRO Recruitment 2017 – Vacancies for 87 Scientist/ Engineer Posts: Department of Space, Government of India, Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO-ISAC) Bengaluru, is looking for passionate aspirants and has issued a notification for the recruitment of 87 Scientist/ Engineer ‘SC’ vacancies on temporary basis.
The board requires passionate Scientist/ Engineers in the field of Electronics, Mechanical and Computer Science. The Electonics Engineers will be working with high-level technology in a range of sectors. They will design, develop and test components, devices, systems or equipment that use electricity as part of their source of power. These components include capacitors, diodes, resistors and transistors. They will be involved at any stage of a project including the initial brief for a concept, the design and development stage, testing of prototypes and the final manufacture and implementation of a new product or system. You'll usually work in cross-functional project teams with colleagues in other branches of engineering. Their exact duties may vary depending on the industry, but in general they will need to discuss proposals with clients, work with colleagues to design new systems, circuits and devices or develop existing technology, test theoretical designs, write specifications and technical reports, follow defined development processes, systematically improve the detailed design of a piece of electronic equipment ensure that a product will work with devices developed by others, can be made again reliably, and will perform consistently in specified operating environments etc. Creative Mechanical Engineers are required to work on all product stages from research and development to design and manufacture, through to installation and final commissioning. The goal is to design and fabricate mechanical components of innovation and excellence. Their key responsibilities will be to perform a full lifecycle product development (design, develop, test prototypes, manufacture and implement), to design systems and components that meet needs and requirements, to produce outline designs, to conduct experiments methodically, analyse data and interpret results, to test and evaluate theoretical designs, to identify, formulate and produce effective solutions to emerging problems, to evaluate final product’s overall performance, reliability and safety, to alter and modify design to meet requirements and to eliminate malfunctions, to estimate budget and scope of project, to solicit observations from operators, to prepare product reports and documentation and to engage in lifelong learning and develop new theories or methods etc.
The Computer Science Engineers, also called as Software Engineer, are required who will be responsible for developing, testing and evaluating the software that make our computers work. They may help in the development of new computer games and business applications, or even in the design of entirely new operating systems. A computer engineer may also be responsible for constructing and managing an organization's computer system and supplying technical support. A computer engineer typically works in an office or laboratory environment as part of a team and enjoys a traditional work schedule.

Mode of Selection:
Candidates will be selected based on the result of their performances in Written Test, Merit and Interview.
