Notification of CPCL Recruitment 2017 – Vacancies for 94 Jr Engineering Asst, Quality Control Analyst and Other Posts: The Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL), Group Company of Indian Oil has published an official advertisement of recruitment for the posts of Junior Engineering Assistant-IV, Junior Quality Control Analyst -IV & Junior Marketing Assistant-IV vacancies in various fields.
The organization is looking for Junior Engineering Assistants related to the fields of Mechanical, Electrical, Production, Instrumentation, Fire & Safety, Purchase & Store and Marketing. Creative Mechanical Engineers are required to work on all product stages from research and development to design and manufacture, through to installation and final commissioning. The goal is to design and fabricate mechanical components of innovation and excellence. Their responsibilities will be to perform a full lifecycle product development (design, develop, test prototypes, manufacture and implement). The Electrical engineers will design, develop and maintain electrical control systems and components to required specifications. Their work focuses on economy, quality, reliability, safety and sustainability. Electrical engineers will be involved in projects from the concept and detail of the design, through to implementation, testing and handover. They may be involved in maintenance programmes. As well as having technical knowledge, electrical engineers need to be able to project manage and multitask. They also need to have commercial awareness. Additional attributes, such as team leadership or management skills, are required as careers progress. The Instrumentation Engineers should have accredited degree or postgraduate qualification, alongside practical hands-on experience since they will be responsible for designing, developing, installing, managing and maintaining equipment which is used to monitor and control engineering systems, machinery and processes. Their job is to make sure that these systems and processes operate effectively, efficiently and safely. They might work for companies who manufacture and supply the equipment or for the companies who use it, such as nuclear and renewable energy companies and environmental agencies. They will need a thorough understanding of the operational processes of an organisation as your role is multidisciplinary, working closely with colleagues across a number of functions, including operations, purchasing and design. Engineers are required for Fire and Safety department to work with a team of professionals that suppresses fires as well as attending to accidents and emergencies. The job is challenging yet extremely rewarding as saving lives and protecting property is of utmost importance for our community. They have to be responsible and brave professional who is well-trained in dealing with emergencies and enduring difficult situations. The applicant’s age must not be above 28 years as on the date of notification i.e. as on 31-01-2017 and age relaxation is applicable to the reserved category candidates as per the Govt rules. The details are as follows:

- General (PWD) Candidates : Age Relaxation upto 10 years

Mode of Selection:
The candidates will be selected based on the selection process of written examination, physical standard test, and physical endurance test.
Candidates belonging to General/ OBC categories should pay Rs.300/-. The SC/ ST/ PWD/ Ex-servicemen candidates have been exempted from payment the application fee.
