Notification of Air India Charters Recruitment 2017 – Vacancies for 55 Dy Manager, Officer and Other Posts: Air India Express (Air India Charters Limited) invites applications from Indian Citizens (wherever domiciled) and has published notification for the recruitment of 55 Deputy Manager, Senior Officer, Officer, Assistant Technical Library, Assistant, Senior Route Manager & Other vacancies on fixed term contract basis.

Air India Express (Air India Charters Limited) is an Indian Low-cost carrier headquartered in Kochi. It is operated by Air India Charters Limited (AICL), a wholly owned subsidiary of flag carrier airline Air India. It operates nearly 596 flights per week to 30 destinations including the Middle East and Southeast Asia. The organization currently requires 55 Officers to fill the desired posts in various departments including Flight Safety Department, Operation Department, Commercial Department, Finance Department, Training Department and Engineering Department.

The officers belonging to Flight Safety Department should have prior experience in Airline Flight Safety Department. They should have atleast 1500 hrs Airline Cockpit Experience including experience in Accident/Incident investigation, SMS, Flight Safety Documentation System, FOQA and Flight Safety related activities. The officers belonging to Operations Deptt. should have experience in aviation industry including Flight Operations functions, and knowledge in handling typical correspondences of an Operations Dept. in Airlines. Experience will be counted on inflight duty free sales administering accounting; dry store / catering uplifts along with crew scheduling in a commercial Airline. etc. The officers applying for the Commercial Department posts, should have analytical and problem solving skills/ ability to work under pressure to achieve the goals, excellent PC skills with MS office is essential related to Sr. Route Manager post. Manager for Scheduling & Network Planning are required who should have experience in any computerized scheduling system like in filing/managing slot. Sr. Officer in Catering Service will have the job profile to handle Purchase Orders for dry store, bonded store items etc in co ordination with Materials Department. Sr Assistant should have experience in International flight handling and departure control system. The Director Chief of Finance should have experience in supervisory rank along with knowledge of laws of the land relating to taxation, contracts, remuneration to employees, etc. The Director Manager of Finance will be handling Finance Department as should have knowledge in SAP – Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. The Sr AssistantFinance/Cashier will be working for Finance Department / Cash handling and should have experience in Airline Industry. The training department requires Synthetic Flight Instructor, should have knowledge of medical assessment in aviation medicine Clearance from Flight safety. There is another post of Dy Manager-(Simulator Scheduling) in the same deptt. who should have experience in Training functions in aviation background. The Assistants are also required to for this deptt. for Training functions that should be conversant with MS Office. The Engineering deptt. requires Continuing Airworthiness Manager who should have aviation experience in Continuing Airworthiness and a responsible position within the approved aviation organization.
