IBPS Clerk Syllabus

The IBPS clerk syllabus is divided into 5 parts, the first part of IBPS clerk syllabus is “Reasoning” the total marks of Reasoning in IBPS clerk syllabus is “40”, now the second part of IBPS clerk Syllabus is English – 40 marks. Now the most important section of the IBPS clerk syllabus is Numerical Ability of 40 marks. Now the General Awareness syllabus with special reference to Banking Industry, so candidates are advised to learn more about the current news on banking sector. This part is also of 40 Marks, this section is not so difficult, you can easily score maximum in this section. The last section of the IBPS clerk syllabus is Computer, candidate must have good knowledge of Computer system. This section is also not so difficult as compare to other sections of IBPS clerk Syllabus, you can easily score good marks in the Computer section, the computer section of IBPS clerk syllabus is of 40 Marks. Total marks are 200 in a duration of 2 hours for objective types questions. The tests except the Test of English Language will be available bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi

 

IBPS Clerk Pre examination training.

It is proposed that IBPS Clerk Pre-Examination Training will be arranged by the Nodal Banks/ Participating Organisations to a limited number of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes/ Minority Communities at some centers.
While training will be imparted free of cost, all other expenses regarding travelling, boarding, lodging etc. will have to be borne by the candidate for attending the IBPS Clerk pre-examination training programme at the designated Centres.

General Awareness: Questions in this component will be aimed at testing the candidates general awareness of the environment around him and its application to society. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighbouring countries especially pertaining to History, Culture, Geography, economic scene, General polity and scientific research etc. These questions will be such that they do not require a special study of any discipline

Arithmetic: This part will include questions on problems relating to number system, computation of whole numbers, decimals and fractions, relationships between numbers, fundamental arithmetical operations, percentage, ratio and proportion, averages, interest, profit and loss, discount, use of tables and graphs, mensuration, time and distance, ratio and time etc.
